HearWell’s process is founded on determining the options that match your goals and ongoing support to reduce any surprises along the way.

From the first assessment to check-ups, HearWell will personalize the recommendations and treatment plan, so you can make the best decisions for your hearing. 

Understand your hearing

HearWell’s comprehensive hearing assessments include tests and personalized evaluation from Dr. Andrew Towers, our award-winning audiologist.

What to expect

The hearing assessment will take around 90 minutes. After a series of hearing tests, we will review your results and then outline the options that are most suitable for your lifestyle and hearing. 

Our tests may reveal the need for a medical referral to an ear/nose/throat surgeon. If that’s the case, we’ll connect you with the professionals.


Evidence-based recommendations

There are two main factors that impact the success of hearing technology: the devices you use and your own hearing challenges and lifestyle.

Personalized solutions

Our recommendations will be guided by your hearing tests and assessment. 

We will suggest the options that will have biggest potential to help you hear better in the day-to-day situations where you depend on your hearing. 


Hearing aid trials

HearWell’s trial period is essential to our process. If hearing aids don’t work for you, then we know not to pursue that specific technology.

Before you purchase any device, we’ll let you try hearing aids at home, work and out-and-about for at least a month.

Throughout the trial period, you’ll meet with Dr. Towers to discuss your experiences. If you’re having any challenges or unexpected surprises, we’ll discuss those too.

The goal is to see if you’re getting the value you expected. After the trial period, we’ll discuss the best technology for your hearing challenges and routines. 


Rehabilitation and counselling 

Follow-up care is essential in HearWell’s process. As your lifestyle changes and your hearing needs adjust, we can adapt the technology to match.

Through regular check-ups, we will monitor and review your hearing, lifestyle and hearing instruments. We will continuously assess the information and suggest the options that will make the biggest difference in your life.

Get a second opinion on your hearing

Most hearing aids are sold without considering follow-up care. Get a second (or third) opinion on your existing devices or recommendations from another hearing care provider.
